Over 100 national and international companies and experts presented at MINEX Russia in 2016 offering their views on current practices, projects, investments, strategies technologies and regulatory developments. The Forum provided a powerful impetus for the multilateral exchange of information and better understanding of the on-going changes in the mining industry and opening opportunities to business partnerships, trade and investments.

MINEX Russia 2017 Forum Secretariat calls on national and international mining experts, analysts, investors, technological companies and government authorities to submit before 1 September abstracts to be considered for presentation at the Forum.

The Forum agenda and confirmed speakers will be announced on the Forum website once all speaker proposals have been reviewed.

NB: Speakers are advised to submit proposals before the official deadline as by the 1st September most of speaking slots will be already reserved. 

SPEAKER PARTICIPATION TERMS

All presenters must pre-register for the Forum and pay the registration fee unless exceptions were pre-agreed with the Organisers. Speaker application with Delegate or Exhibitor registration forms.

Participation costs for presenters:

Participation in the Master Class (10 October) with presentation – Please enquire about availability

Participation in the Forum (11 – 12 October) with presentation at the Forum sessions, Panel discussions or  MineTech – Cost: 750 USD

Participation in the Gala Dinner (20 April) – Cost: 120 USD

NB: Speakers presenting on behalf of sponsor or exhibitor will be provided with a complimentary admission in accordance with the sponsorship and exhibitor terms.

Before 1 October –  Arrange admission payment the Forum (applicable to independent speakers who did not register as Sponsors or Exhibitors)

Before 3 October – Submit slides and additional notes to be included in the delegate handout materials (recorded on CDs). Documents are accepted in PDF, Word, PowerPoint

Before 5 October – Submit slides (Standard 4:3 format) in PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX) or PDF  for onscreen presentation.

All speaker changes must be communicated in writing to admin@minexforum.com.

In case of speaker replacement new speaker form must be submitted at the earliest convenience.

Due to production deadlines, new speaker profiles received after 6 October will not printed in the Forum catalogue or printed programs. When possible, new speaker profiles will be updated on the Forum website.

Speaker cancellations received between 1 September and 1 October – 75% refund of the paid admission fee

Speaker cancellations received after 1 October – no refund. When possible, a credit note will be issued for attending another event organised by MINEX Forum

Presentations proposed for the mainstream sessions must cover topics that are of general interest to its key audiences and exclude self-promotional or advertising materials. Case studies based on practical experiences in Russia or globally are welcome. Please refer to the list of themes proposed to be addressed at the Forum.

Thought provoking panel discussions are held as part of the mainstream sessions of the forum.

They offer experts opportunities for sharing thoughts and ideas via moderator-led dialogue on the range of themes, e.g. regulation, investment, business practices, etc.

To extend their views beyond the Forum audience, presenters can request an individual interview with the Forum’s special correspondent.

The interview will be published in the Forum news blog subscribed by leading trade publications and internet-media.

Master Classes and Short Courses are in-depth educational sessions led by presenters with expertise in a variety of different subjects. MineTech – International competition of mining challenges and solutions will be held for the first time alongside MINEX Russia 2017.

Launched in  April 2017 at MINEX Central Asia Forum in Kazakhstan, MineTech competition (http://minexasia.com/2017/minetech) created new format for winning businesses and selecting mining solutions.

Finding the best possible technological solution for a mine planning, construction, modernisation or closure is a complex task and often involves creative approach and analysis of alternative offers. Striving to achieve greater efficiency in knowledge exchange and engagement between the local mining companies and international vendors the MINEX Russia Forum Secretariat is organising MineTech competition of mining challenges and solutions.

The competition is designed around a win-win formula: the mining companies will get a wide spectrum of turnkey solutions from local and international providers.

The vendors will have a chance to demonstrate the application of their products and technologies for resolving specific cases. The forum delegates will participate in lively discussions and learn about new technologies and solutions.

After the competition the mining companies will be able to create a super challenge and invite the winners to implement the proposed solutions.

Plenary sessions of the Forum are held in the main conference room and provide platform for keynote addresses and presentations by distinguished speakers and senior representatives of major companies, national and international organisations.
